When however we wait for the nature of the benefits of existence to cross our paths, this will be how we view each and every event and happening that comes to be in our lives! What is the difference between the two many wonder? Well, the answer to that question lies in the word "perspective". It's no misfortune that someone a long time ago coined the question "do you view you glass as half empty or half full?" There is a creative switch you see that causes events and fronts of happening to be drawn into our paths as a result of ones placement of perspective, and where one chooses to place him or herself is one of the prime causes to where and to what one exposes oneself to in this life. Think of it as choosing to travel to the east or to the west, or to the north or to the south. If one chose to travel to the north in the wintertime and if one travelled long enough, a fair bet is that eventually snow and cold will be encountered with all of the experience that comes right along with it. The same can be said for travelling to the south in the same season. Now expand this postulate of the presentation of the experiences of all of life and existence and vary the possibilities to the near infinite of what it truly is and the theme begins to become apparent does it not? To experience all of what one chooses to along the path of life, one must begin a journey in some direction. Will there be unexpected happenings and circumstances along the way? Of course there will! But to begin to experience anything, in any way, and in any direction at all, one must begin to choose some direction and then begin to MOVE ALONG, step by step and mile by mile. My parents used to have a saying that they tried their best to live by when they planned for some trip. They said to write down the best list you can so you don't forget anything and then try your best to plan for the eventualities and the unexpected and then get going. Of course it was this author's mother who always followed these up with the spiritual reminder that "we would never be traveling alone!" She always reminded that the Great Spirit or God would always be with us! When we allow our fears to overcome the momentum of our hopes, our wishes and our dreams along our way, these fears can tend to gain the power and the momentum of the halting forces that we create in life. This is when we are spending too much time worrying about what "could" come to be, instead of setting our minds onto what we "will" have in our lives along the way! Unexpected events will eventually happen from time to time in everyone's experience. This is mere fact to existence itself. All one can do to help to allay its power over us, and then plan the path out the best that one can along the way. Then live life to its fullest along with the understanding that the path is never, ever, travelled alone! This is what is referred to as living in a spiritual way! Think about it... When we wait for the nature of the ills of existence to cross our paths eventually this will be the very thing that we draw into our way. Of course, eventually, we all will encounter some form of the ill, but why set ones mind to a virtual foot tapping in anticipation?
