Of course it might have something to do with the fact that the New England region has served as home for this author thus far, so far in his path. The same sort of anticipation that children have for the coming of Christmas morning is the same this spiritualist feels as we all draw ever closer to the coming month of September. It signals the season when nature begins its slow progression towards the long sleep for all of the trees and all of the plants throughout winter. The clear and cool air that begins the cycle of the transition to autumn brings about recollections of the seasonal tendencies that take place along the spiritual paths of so many as the year travels its course. Inherently some times of the year bring about more of an inner thoughtfulness for many for some reason. The holiday season from November until after the beginning of January tend to light off the fires of the spirit of giving and of helping. The Christian calendar of Easter for the Christian world brings about a season of devoted homage to the concept of a loving nature between much of humankind. The same is true for the pagan community at various times of the year as it stands for all other traditions in their own way on their own respective calendars. Autumn for this author is a time of renewal and a time to reenergize the spirit. It is a time to review the previous year with all of its accomplishments and all of its trials and a time to renew personal vows of committed spiritualism to self and to others. It is a time to re-center the empathic sensations of the connectedness to others and it is a time to remember and to renew spiritual vows observed that realign the center of the soulful nature of the spirit and to the Great Spirit. Yes, the soon coming of autumn for this author is a special time that cannot be matched through any other season, but this is truly a personal perspective as is the time that is special to others for the same and for other reasons. The color and the scents of New England spices fill the air. The fields carry the morning dew laid the night before and the mist reminds of the coming cool feeling of renewal. Wouldn't it be absolutely wonderful if the entire year could be adored in such a fashion for each person in their own way and observing their own traditions as they do? Wouldn't it be fantastic if each and every day of each and every season of the entire year held such a loving spot for people as their own particular favorite seasons did? Guess what? That is what spiritualism is all about, and it doesn't matter what the belief, or what the tradition, or what the practice one chooses. It doesn't matter how one relegates their own special commitment in their own way. What does matter is the way one holds such adorations within the center of the soulful spirit and how it renews the spirit to be held and remembered all year long. This is what a renewal and an awakening is all about. This is what spiritualism is all about. This is what we all are about. Even when we don't even think in such terms. For without this as a construct in all of creation, none of us would ever be at all. Think about it... As Always, WD Allan © Copyright 2010, WD Allan, Spiritualitymoment.com All Rights Reserved

There are certain times of the year that tend to bring about very warm feelings of affection as well as eliciting feelings of a true inner love between so many people. Some do so adore the winter time, some certainly relish in the color and the crisp season of autumn. Some wait with yearly anticipation for the entrance of the Christmas season so that they can tide all of their yule's to last them through until the next one while others still, wish and wait in anticipation for the yearly entrance of spring. Yes, holidays and seasons signal so much for so many, and why not? There are so many reasons to adore the path of life and to want to experience as much as one can. Especially when the particular season that one loves so much matches the texture of the personality. This is why the autumn season matches this author's personality so much.
